Dual P715 can now be rooted easily with the help of simple steps which we will be checking out in the due course of this article. Please note that before we proceed on to the instructions which will help you root the device, you will have to make sure that you have followed all the below mentioned list of pre requisites which will make sure that all your data is safe and the process of rooting gets done successfully.



Quick Pre Requisites:
  • Only with the help of below mentioned steps, it’s preferred to create a backup. Make sure that you are not making use of LG PC Suite for taking the backup as it may not help you restore the same.

  • Minimum charge left in your phone is 40% or else there is a risk of device getting turned off in the middle of rooting process.

Procedure to Root LG Optimus L7 II Dual P715 on Latest Firmware:
  • Turn off your phone so that it can be entered in the Emergency mode. turn off the phone, hold the volume “down “and insert the USB cable to enter the device in the Emergency Mode.
  • Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe and select the options like 3GQCT andf DIAG to select the modified rooted firmware file and click on Launch Software update and wait for the same. Once the device is flashed, it will be rooted and it will reboot the device.
