Summary: ETI-Eloquence text-to-speech (TTS) is a ported version of Android popular Eloquence Text-To-Speeach Sythesizer.
ETI-Eloquence is a TTS engine which can be used in a wide range of applications such as:
- Screen readers and applications for blind people (such as Talkback or Mobile Accessibility)
- GPS software (like Google Maps)
- E-readers (like Play Books)
- Translators (as Google Translate)
- And much more!
The main features of ETI-Eloquence TTS are:
- 10 languages included in a single purchase: USA English, British, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), German, Finnish (Finland), French (France), French (Canadian), Italian and Portuguese (Brazil) English
- Speed and pitch settings
- Dictionary of use: ability to add, edit or delete words from a dictionary to customize the toolbar
Once the application is installed on your device, you can perform ETI-Eloquence TTS engine your default, go to Settings> Language & input> text to speech results and checking "ETI-Eloquence TTS" as its preferred default engine.
What's new
- Option tone is disabled when "Pitch Strength" is not enabled to avoid confusion.
- App Icon is placed on the main screen at first install.
- App Icon is placed on the list of all applications (app drawer)
- Removed an empty list at the end of the configuration.
Added:
- Option to choose the sample rate between 11kHz and 16kHz
- Option to delete all the words in the user dictionary
- Option to select the strength and rate of speech (similar to setting the tone)
- Option to enable or disable user dictionary
