There are certain words which you commonly use and those words are not present in the English dictionary present on your phone. Or the language that you speak is different from your default language of your phone. Not sure of others but I prefer to go with mix of Hindi language with English, my idea is to type as fast as possible when I am messaging to others. Whenever I come across a new word not recognized for auto completion of words, I add it to dictionary so that whenever I want to use it again it comes in the auto complete text field smartly done by my Android phone.

Here are the two methods by which you can add words to the user dictionary –

Method 1 –

In this method, you don’t need do anything. You just have to keep on writing in the message or in email and whenever you enter that word which is not recognized by your phone, just long press on the word and tap on “Add to dictionary”.

Add-to-Dictionary[1]

That’s it! The next time when you are using that particular word, it would appear in auto complete suggestions, perfect for me.

Method 2 –

The users can also add words to the dictionary by simply going to the phone settings and then selecting the option of User dictionary under the option of Language and Keyboard settings. When you are on to it then press on Menu and add the word. This method manually requires you to exit for the work that you are doing and then add it manually in the settings.

Preferably, I would suggest you to go with the first method which mentioned above as its easy and doesn’t require any extra work to be done. This option is included in all the Android mobile phone but not just the Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile phone which I have used.
