  • Download Kitkat 4.4.2 Android OS package and Google Apps Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the same in your device.
  • For applying this update, you will have to root the device. To check on whether your phone is rooted or not, you will have to download “Root Checker” app from the Google PLAY Store and check on whether the device is rooted or not.   • Turn off your Galaxy S  and after 5 seconds or when your device gives a small vibration, hold the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, you need to switch ON your device to see the Green Robot on the screen.
